NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - The Alliance Police Department arrested a man after he was allegedly caught driving while intoxicated with a child in the back seat. Casey Grimes, 43, was taken into custody following a traffic stop in Alliance. Police said an officer witnessed Grimes driving recklessly on Third Street after turning west from Ramblin Road, nearly causing a collision.

Alliance Police arrested a habitual DUI offender following a reckless driving stop Wednesday night. An officer pulled over a Chevrolet Silverado after the driver nearly caused a collision on 3rd Street. The driver, identified as 43-year-old Casey Grimes, was found to be under a 15-year license revocation with a blood alcohol content nearly three times the legal limit.

State Patrol makes two arrests after body found in western Nebraska
ALLIANCE, Neb. (KOLN) - The Nebraska State Patrol arrested two people in connection with a suspected homicide in western Nebraska. Investigators discovered human remains in rural Box Butte County on Thursday and believe the person was a homicide victim. Authorities arrested 26-year-old Tamara Bingham of Alliance on a first-degree murder charge and 36-year-old Matthew Landreth as an accessory to a felony.
